Some may ask "How in the world did you get on CNN?" Let me take you on a brief journey.

Rich and I purchased grapes from the Napa Valley in 1999, until our estate vineyard started producing in 2000. We entered our 1999 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in the San Francisco International Wine Competition and it happened to win the ONLY DOUBLE GOLD GIVEN for a Napa Valley Cabernet. It was up against 3600 wines from 26 different countries. Bon Appetit sponsored that event and invited us to New York to pour at their big Wine Gala Event. Rich and I were approached by three producers from CNN, and two weeks later they were out filming our harvest at Tara Bella.
